We at Out There Photography have a fascination with bridges. They're functional, yes, but they're also fascinating examples of the marriage between art and engineering.
Here are a few of our favorite bridge shots, and if all goes to plan, we will have many, many more in the coming months.

Reflections
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, an event, or series of events, that gives you cause to stop and think, to reevaluate and reflect. In honor of such moments, here are some photographic reflections...courtesy of Out There Photography.

Logo Contest
Here at Out There Photography, we're fortunate to have many supportive friends and family members. Two of our friends were nice enough to each create a logo for us. We love them both, but we can't decide which one we love better. We toyed around with the idea of having two logos, but then we thought that, considering the huge amount of support we've had with our latest venture, we'd let our friends be the judge and put it to a vote. Yay for democracy! So here are the two logos in no particular order:
Logo #1:
Logo #2:
So what do you think? Let your voice be heard by voting in the poll on the right hand side of the page(if you're reading this on Facebook or elsewhere, you'll have to go to our homepage--www.OutTherePhotography.com--to vote). Thanks for reading, and check back soon for more photographic goodness!

Coastal Critters
Took a little drive out to the coast this afternoon. It was sunny, cool, and breezy...a nice escape from the 90-degree temps forecast for the valley.

Fair Fotos
Yesterday, Out There Photography took a trip to the Lane County Fair.
We checked out all the critters, listened to Joan Jett & the Blackhearts perform, wandered through the photography exhibit, and of course, took a whole lot of photos.
Here are a few of our favorites!

Salt Creek & Salt Creek Falls
Yesterday, Out There Photography took a drive up Hwy. 58 past Oakridge to Salt Creek Falls. In addition to taking a lovely hike and some exciting photos, we got to experiment with the settings on our cameras and test out our new toy...a neutral density (ND) filter, which enhances the blur effect of the water...fun, fun, and more fun!
Enjoy the photos!

Daily Double Dose
Alrighty, folks! Here are some photos from last night's travels, and as promised, it's a double dose.
First, we spent some time wandering around the University of Oregon campus. When you're a student, you don't have time to appreciate the beauty of the architecture, but now that we're both no longer students, it's easier to appreciate the marvelous architectural details and gorgeous landscaping.
From campus, we headed up to Skinner Butte, which is a hill that overlooks downtown and South Eugene.
P.S. We at Out There Photography would like to say thank you to all of you who visit our site! There are more adventures to come, so stay tuned...

So, we were out late last night taking more photos and didn't get around to posting anything for yesterday. Therefore, there will be a double dose of daily photos coming up soon.

On the Coast
Just a short drive from Out There Photography's home base, the Oregon Coast is always a refreshing, relaxing and inspiring break from the norm. Even living so close, we always find new and beautiful sights every time we visit.

Relics
Out at White River Falls State Park, there is an old hydroelectric plant down by the river below the falls. The plant was built in the early 1900's, but is no longer in use. When the powers-that-be shut down the plant, they did not remove the equipment or tear down the building. It's all just been left to fall apart over time. A really neat place to explore, and a great place for photos.
