Relics

Out at White River Falls State Park, there is an old hydroelectric plant down by the river below the falls. The plant was built in the early 1900's, but is no longer in use. When the powers-that-be shut down the plant, they did not remove the equipment or tear down the building. It's all just been left to fall apart over time. A really neat place to explore, and a great place for photos.

  1. I really love these, Cathy! I was born in the Sacramento Valley where the mammoth industrial agricultural buildings stand in stark juxtaposition to the beauty of the fields...these photos remind me (fondly) of that. I'd love to see more next time we're over - maybe order a large print for our new house eventually! -Summer
